The AscentWith somber step and lonely gate,  She walked the evident stair.  Alone with her obligations,  Along she went with only reasonable care.

A Critical Review of Christmas      December 22, 2006  I hate family Christmases. I do not want to be here. Every time we come out here it just becomes mom lecturing us about the most ludicrous shit, like wearing our shoes because its savage of us not to, and using the right goddamn fork and not smoking cigarettes and not cussing and making sure we always look our best because mom wants her mother to think that she actually did something right in raising us. It's Been A While

My last journal entry was Mid-October 2006.... It's been a while. My writing career has taken an hiatus to make more room for pointless core-curriculum classes, mass quantities of alcohol, late nights, apartment evictions and moving between states. Needless to say, it's about time I get back to doing what I love most in my life: writing. I'm a little rusty and my stuff isn't really so great any more. Not that it ever was, but at least I was making progress. So hang in there with me while I attempt to refresh what's left of any trace amount of talent I had. Wish me luck.

At the moment, I think painting is my forte... but that may just be because I took a painting class this semester and my prof was amazing and inspirational. Drawing is definitely my weakess, but it's mostly because I look at it as the planning stage for other things.
